Liana Recchione

Penciller

Liana Recchione was born in the fall of 1979, in a small village in the heart of Italy. As a child, she always had a passion for drawing and she dreamed to become a film animator. Then she discovers the comic. Never give up her passion, she graduated with honors in Ancient Litteratures at the University
of L’Aquila and subsequently she came to the International School of Comics, at the headquarters of Chieti (now Pescara), where at the end of her path, she was called of the children lab as a teacher. Now she’s still working there.

In 2010 she published his first comic book titled ‘Raven’ for Cagliostro E-Press; she created even history, designs and color.

In 2011, coming out a celebratory illustration of the character ‘Myriam’ by Federico Memola, in a book dedicated to the curvy Canadian, entitled ‘Sexy & Chaotic2011’ Even in 2011 he worked as an intern at the Honda Industrial SpA Italy managed its corporate brochure.

In 2012, with Marco Ventura she gets the first place in the national competition ‘Pietro Miccia 2012’ with project ‘Midnight Souls’. Then she releases a short story ‘Kanon und Gigue’ for the Wombat Publishing; even here she realizes subject and drawings too. In the same year also coming out a story for the series ‘Agency Spells’ screenplay by Federico Memola. Recruited by the staff of the comics ‘Norby’, now Manfont editions, now she is the official series cover artist and colorist of the strips that tell the story of the little black kitten.

At the 2014 will also see the release of the first episode of her series ‘Risenfall’ for Shockdom Editions.
