Where did you grow up? Near my hometown, Contagem, an industrial city.

Where did you study art? I graduated in Artistic Drawing at a tech school called INAP and then I did Comic Book crash course in a small local art school. But most of the things I've learned were from artists and professionals in the field, mainly in local Comic Book conventions and also studying the masters at home.

How long have you been working professionally with comics?
Seven years...but just four years ago I really turned that in a carrer.

How did you start? Was it easy or hard?
Getting in was easy, staying in field was the hard part. The pressure and lack of money in the beginning almost make me quit a couple of times.

How did you fell when you saw your first published work?
Very happy and excited... just people who love this field know how is like. It's like have done your duty and being able to relax for a moment. A goal accomplished and also open to the next step. I loved the felling.

Did ever worked as art assistant? If so, tell us your experience on that.
I worked A LOT as an art assistant for Brazilian Comic Books. I worked more than two years in a previous Comic Book studio without receiving a penny from them!!! At least that gave me my first professional portfolio.

What did you parents think when you said you decided to work with Comic Books?
In the beginning they thought would be just an overstated thing and that I wouldn't pursue this carrer. They never had encourage me in this: “this is not a job, in a serious job you have to wake up six in the morning and arrive tired late night”. Now they've accepted it.

How do you describe your work space? Is it part of your house or do you go to a studio?
I have everything I need so far in my home. Sometimes I hang around Big Jack Studios.

Tell us about your family. Any kids? Do they accept the kind of work you have?
My family is a kind of weird people. I love them all but I'm still single with no kids. My family are used to see me reading and drawing “comic” books.

What projects would you love to get in the future?
I would LOVE to get team books as Avengers, Justice League, things like that. For me they would fullfilling.

Where do you see yourself in five years? ten?
Sincerely...I don't know.
I hope I would be ok...I fighting for it.

How is people interesting in Comics where you live? Do your friends and neighboors recognize it as a way of living?
The interesting is increasing by the year!

More and more Cons and such are happening here and people finally are used to Comic Books as not a child thing anymore.

Now lots of people see that Comic Book are a marvelous entertaining thing.

What's your favorite food?
Lasagna! Lots of lasagna!

What is your favorite hobbie -- movies? Music? TV? Sports?
Movies for sure! I see tons of it/

Did you think about write your own stories?
Always! I know that this time will come!

Do you have a personal project that you would like to see published?
Yes, it's called Cromus!

The whole story is written and I kept it with me wating its time.

If you were not a Comic Book Artist, what would you be?
I can't see myself doing anything else.

Some final words?
It ‘s all come out rigth in the end.
